Conduct Disorder

Psynapse Clinic

Conduct Disorder is a mental health condition seen in children and adolescents where they repeatedly show aggressive, disruptive, or antisocial behavior. This may include bullying, lying, stealing, destroying property, or breaking rules. These behaviors go beyond normal mischief and often cause problems at home, school, or in relationships. Children with conduct disorder may seem uncaring or show little guilt for their actions, but their behavior often stems from deeper emotional struggles, trauma, or difficulties in their environment.

It’s important not to label them as “bad kids.” Instead, early recognition and compassionate intervention are crucial.

Treatment may include therapy, behavior management, family support, and sometimes medication. With the right help, many children can learn healthier ways to express themselves and build better relationships. Raising awareness helps reduce blame and encourages families to seek support, offering these children a better chance at a positive and productive future.
